Merry Christmas!

We had a blast this Christmas! We kept busy over the weekend with spending time with lots of family!! Here are some pictures to show it :) We have one more Christmas gathering to have, love family time!! Kamryn also turned 5 months old on Christmas day! Wow has the time gone fast. 

NIght in Bethlehem @ Crossview Covenant AND Snow Storm 12/11/10

Jeff, Kamryn and I were asked to be Joesph, baby Jesus and Mary for Night in Bethlehem at our church! This is where kids come a see what it was like in Bethlehem back when Jesus was born. It was fun to see the many kids come and see who baby Jesus really was!! :) Kamryn did so good, she slept through half the time and then was amazed by all the kids!

AND then the storm began, we left our church Friday night while it was raining. We woke up the next morning to a blizzard!! Rachel and I had a wedding to be at to take pictures so we went and adventured downtown, which was only really 5 blocks from my house! Jeff was housebound with Kamryn. The wedding went really well - the bride and groom were so laid back and not worried about what the weather was doing outside!! When our night came to an end we drove back to my house on non plowed roads... that was crazy! We stayed in and watch a movie the rest of the night, Rachel too! This morning was a different story... Jeff woke me up by saying there is flashing lights outside... I ignored him until he went to look out the window and Rachel's car was in the process of being towed... Oh my goodness, I don't think I have ever jumped out of bed as fast as I did this morning! I ran out in my pjs yelling 'That's my car!!!' The tow man was super nice and allowed me to save Rachel's car from being towed... let's just say Jeff told us her car would be fine on the street...NOT!!! I got it half way up our non-plowed driveway and got stuck!!! As I am writing this, Jeff is out plowing - Rachel's car is unstuck and the driveway is almost completely plowed!! Way to go Jeff :) Kamryn and I stayed in and cuddled up :) I think we heard we got about 15 inches of snow..

Thanksgiving Weekend (alittle late)

Thanksgiving weekend was a full/fun weekend!!! Spend a lot of time with family and friends! We thank God daily for our family and keeping in touch with great friends!!

Thursday~ we had a successful Thanksgiving dinner! Thanks to the wonderful hands that prepared it. Kamryn celebrated her first Thanksgiving with Gma & Gpa Gravley, Auntie Jen & Uncle Brandon, Auntie Kiley & Rachel and Great Uncle Wes and her parents of course!  She was a big girl and sat in her highchair at the dinner table playing with her toys! Gma thought she would sneak Kamryn some mashed potatoes with out mommy seeing... didn't happened!! She seemed to like them :) Anyways Kamryn also got a later visit from Gpa & Gma Davey and Great Gma Norma! Daddy, Mommy and Kamryn slept great that night!!

Friday~ Kamryn's 4 month check up went great! She is 15pds, 26.5 inches long and in good health! Doctor said she is growing well and cute as can be!! :) The only sad part was she had to get three shots, :-( hard for mommy and daddy to watch. She did great through the first two and then the last one obviously hurt, because she cried for a few minutes cuddled up in daddy's arms... overall it was a sleepy day!

Saturday~ The "Gravley" girls threw a successful surprise party for our parents 25th Wedding Anniversary!! Thank to the Timmerman's for opening their house up and inviting us out for dinner!! We had parts of mom and dad's family members come and close friends!!! I think my parents enjoyed the night!!

Sunday~ We had more of a relaxing day just the three of us Daveys. Then we headed out for dinner with Gpa & Gma Davey.

Hunting Weekend

This weekend was spent in Prentice, WI where our friends Seth and Mallory grew up. Seth and Jeff spent most of the weekend sitting in deer stands wait for a deer to come in their view... and they didn't see much. I have been looking forward to getting some deer meat in our freezer but this year hasn't been really lucky for Jeff. I know he will work to get a deer... so Kamryn and I might be sacrificing another weekend away from him so he can go hunting and get a deer.
Anyways, we will be spending Thanksgiving in Mankato with the Gravley/Sweigard family. There will be a lot of football watching and naps!! :)

I plan to update again after the holiday because Kamryn goes in on Friday for her 4month checkup :) It will be fun to see how much she has grown but not so fun to watch her get shots....:-/

3 Months Old

So we have been a little behind! ha We have been busy with work starting back, 3 month pictures and a fun weekend of halloween with friends!! Here is some pictures to show what has been going in the last month!

Weekend of Fun!

Well it's been awhile now and thought I would get a post before I start at work on the 18th of Oct. I am sad to have to go back, but I think it will be good for me... I will miss spending each full day with my little Kamryn but she is going to a good home for daycare... A dear friend, Kayla, will be taking her during my work hours. She will be in a christian home and hopefully make some great buddies there!! I am confident on who we have chosen to take care of her! I am going to have to step back a little on pictures b/c if I don't I won't have much time to spend with Jeff and Kamryn as a family! Anyways, enough about me and work...
This past weekend we have the Hueckman's over for a "hunting weekend"... It was fun to spend time with them and the pictures show we had a good time! Heston and Hardy got to go on a firetruck b/c our Carbon Monoxide alarm went off and we couldn't get it to shut off and we had to call 911... It wasn't something we planned on but the boys got to explore alittle on the firetruck while they checked the house. Nothing was found, we had to change the battery and that did the job!  We also watched the TWINS Saturday night, which was fun!! Not the loosing part tho... lol  We have a true MN fan on our hands - Kamryn supported the TWINS and VIKINGS this weekend :) She is taking after daddy cheering on those MN teams!!
Other than all that, everything has been going great! Kamryn sleeps though the night and both mommy and daddy get sleep! haha I started giving her naps in her crib and she is doing great!! I think we are getting alittle spoiled on how easy we have it! :) Another one soon!!! ;-)

2 Months Old!!

Kamryn is now 2 months old, she is getting so big and loves to talk! She does a lot of cooing and "talking" !! She is so much more awake now and fun to watch! I love that she knows the word smile!!! When someone asks her "Can you smile?" She smiles within the next few seconds!! It's amazing :) Today is our 2 year wedding anniversary... We plan to take a walk around Minneopa with Kamryn and "show" here where we were married!! The pictures below are a picture with mommy and her in the moby wrap, the baseball dress Aunt Sonja made for Kamryn and her 2 month update picture :) She loves to smile for mommy and daddy!!! ENJOY!

7 weeks old and getting more exciting!

We have had some fun watching Kamryn grow up! She really is fun to watch, she has been smiling when we talk to her or "ask" her to smile!!! She has a beautiful smile... check out the pictures and video! She has changed so much from a few weeks ago, it is so much fun!! I can't stop saying that... :)
We went to our first wedding as a family and she did great, saw looks of friends and enjoyed our time together!! :) Kamryn danced with Leah, the bride, during the dollar dance and loved it!

Anyways, I just felt like it had been awhile since we updated so we had to show off what she was doing these days!

1 month down!

Well we have had a good first month with Kamryn in our lives! It has been a blessing to have her around. God is amazing :) He has given us a daughter to love unconditionally, and what an experience it is. Jeff and I have enjoyed our time so far. We have taken her everywhere we go, it is hard to keep our eyes off of her!! Kamryn is starting to smile when talking to her, I also think she can see a little further now, she follows Jeff's hand when he puts it above her face! What a difference from even a few weeks ago! Kamryn loves going on walks and car rides, it calms her and puts her to sleep most of the time! She is a good baby, we can't thank God enough for giving us a beautiful daughter to care and love for! Here are a few pictures that we took this week!!! We did a little photo shoot ... I couldn't stop myself! That's all for now, I will write again soon!

2 Weeks old today!

2 weeks down! We are doing great, Kamryn has been sleeping 4 hours straight during the night and mommy and daddy are getting good sleep during that time. It takes a bit to get her back to sleep at 4/5am but I'm not complaining. We have a good baby on our hands!!
We made our first trip to church this morning, dressed her up in a pretty dress (pic below) we got from Mallory and Seth - she was all too cute :) Today it is super hott out so we have stayed inside watching the Twins game and taking naps while Kamryn is sleeping!! She sleeps more during the late morning and early afternoon and has become more alert in the evenings, which is great most the time. She does get a little fussy at time, basically right around the time we are going to eat supper, so I have learned to eat with Kamryn in one arm!

11 days old and doing great!!

Countdown is ON!

This morning was hard to get up and get ready for work because I hoped all weekend I would have had this baby... but nope baby didn't come and I am starting a new week. I have decided that this baby is going to come when he/she wants and there isn't much I can do. I think I have tried everything tho... went walking ALOT, pedicures, thought about eating something spicy but I really I don't think anything is going to work the way I have planned. So we are playing the waiting game! Wishing and hoping the day will be here soon to meet our little Baby Davey.
This brings a good point to mind for myself, God is again teaching me patience!!! HA I guess I didn't learn my lesson well enough when we had struggled to find a place to live... lol Anyways, lets just say... the countdown has begun and we are extremely ready for this baby to arrive into this world! Keep praying with us that we can meet him/her shortly!

All moved in, feeling more like home!!

We are all moved in to the new place and enjoying more space! We thank God for a place we can call home before we welcome Baby Davey into this world! The space is so much better for us and it feels like a house more than an apartment! We can't Thank our family enough for helping us move and get settled in this new place!! We Love you all so much!

Baby update: We had our 37 week appt on Tuesday and doctor says everything is going well, no dilation yet so he feels okay letting me drive to WI for a wedding I am photographing on July 3rd. So that is good news for me and my business!! :) But momma's belly is growing quite a bit now and baby is starting to have less room to move... I am feeling pretty good for being full term/37 weeks. Getting tired by the end of the day, which you can tell in the picture below!! Also the other picture was taken at 37 weeks when I met up with my friend, Kelly, from up north to take her pregnancy pictures!! It was fun to take a few of Jeff and I. Anyways, bye for now!!!

GOOD NEWS!!!

So... as I said in my last post, we were still in need of prayer for a new place, well GOD opened the doors!!! With the help of prayer and word of mouth we found a place in West Mankato on W. 11th Street,  we will be moving the last weekend of June. Its a side by side duplex, so we have a lot more space when this baby will arrive!! Its amazing how things just come together at the right time. Jeff and I are so thankful for family and friends like you! Thank you for doing that, we really do appreciate it :) God has had to teach me a lot of patience with this living situation because he knew there was perfect home for us now, not before!!
Anyways, just had to share that wonderful news! We are so very excited and now I feel so much better for family and friends to come visit us when Baby Davey arrives :)
I will have to show pictures of the place when we move in!!

June 2nd update... days are getting closer!!

So this past weekend we went camping with friends we call family, and it was a blast. We camped in Lake City, MN near Red Wing... It was a advertised as this beautiful campground on Lake Pepin, but little did we know that the cabin was right off the hwy and we only had lake view with a loud hwy and a train running by every hour or so. It was an interesting experience, but memories! The guys caught fish at least!! Anyways, it was a good relaxing weekend away from home, other than the sleeping part - baby Davey didn't sleep well so that means mommy didn't either!! haha We will just say it was nice to come home to "my" bed and sleep a full night!!

Before the weekend we had an ultrasound to check size and positioning, and baby is doing great! Head is down, so that is good!! Baby has been very active these last few weeks- we had a doctor appt today (wednesday) and we are measuring right on and heart rate is very good, according to Dr. Gordon. We are at 33 weeks, 1 day today and wow can I say " the time has flown by" I feel like we just found out we were going to have a baby and told the news to all our family and friends! But now that it is June we are very close!! The picture was taken last night, yes I got a little burnt over the weekend!!! :)

Update on our living situation: continue to Pray that God opens up something perfect for us, we are finding places but they just don't fit us as we would hope... as the due date is getting closer the living situation is getting more stressful ~ but we are praying that God will provide us with a place we can call our home here soon! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers as we take on this new journey ahead! We are so excited to become parents :) Love you all!!!!!

9 weeks ~ 61 days to go!!

Well it's been a little long since I have posted but my days are super busy!! Baby Davey is growing and I think the time will either go by fast or slow - We have 9 weeks before the baby is due!! Lots of baby movements going on right now, super fun!! New photo below!
I am really enjoying my new Sales job and also busy doing photography... I can't thank Jeff enough for being so supportive. Jeff and I are getting our time also, but I am also trying to fit in as many sessions I can before baby Davey arrives! I just know I will be busy with him/her when the day comes :)
This weekend is our first baby shower!! We are super excited to spend time with close friends and family :) I will have to share pictures after the weekend. Anyways, gotta run!! I will write soon :)

Kansas City Weekend

Ohh what a fun weekend we had!! My parents, Kiley, Rachel, Jeff and I drove down to K.C. to visit Clay and Ashtin, and also go to the TWINS games down there!! It was a blast to see Clay and Ashtin!! We were thankful for the time we got to spend with them and as a family also! We had mostly rain down there but for Friday's game the sun was shining and we enjoyed a fun outdoor baseball game! The stadium there is awesome, I can say it may have beaten the new TWINS stadium b/c they just re-model and opened up the outfield area and made it kids friendly!!

Anyways!! We are now 28 weeks along with Baby Davey and we have an ultrasound on Thursday to check my placenta previa status (Doctor says we should be fine, but we need to check it out).... For the people that don't know, my placenta was riding very low at the start of the 2nd trimester so we have to watch it from now on! But we are so excited to see Baby Davey again!!! Baby has been moving a lot and mommy's belly is growing everyday!!

I started her new job today - lots of training today!! Got moved to a new "home" which is what I call my cube.  So far so good, can't wait for what the next week brings me!! I will be on the phones selling books soon :) Keep me in your thoughts and prayers as these next couple weeks go by - I will be learning alot and will need to start up on phone calls very soon!!!

New to the blog thing!

Well we are going to start a blog! We are 6 months pregnant and eagerly waiting for July to come so we can meet Baby Davey. Baby is 27 weeks today and we had a doctor appt this morning - Baby is doing great and we are right on track :) Mommy's bump is growing everyday, baby is kicking a lot and moving around. We can't wait to meet him or her!! 

Jeff and I have been in the process of job hunting for him and looking for bigger apartments ... no luck on either so far. We hope to find something soon for Jeff as he is excited to start a job in his field, Resource Management. And with the living situation it is just going have to wait or something is going to have to come our way!! Its difficult to try searching when you can't find anything thats decent and in our price range... So we may have to live where we are for now! 
As of last week I was offered and Inside Sales position at Capstone and I accepted and will begin that on April 28th. I am excited and hope everything goes great!!! Jeff and I thought it would be the best for me to accept so I can get some Sales experience, which is what I have been wanting to do, I did go to school for Sales and Marketing!!
